Roxy Leisure will be opening their third site and first Roxy Lanes venue in Liverpool this November. Roxy Lanes Liverpool School Lane will focus on ten pin bowling and feature a range of activities including American pool, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, tech darts, karaoke, beer pong and more.

Their current Liverpool locations, Roxy Ball Room Hanover Street & Cavern Quarter, are both over 18s only. However, the new Roxy Lanes site will be open to under 18s during selected times.

Founded by Matthew Jones and Ben Jones, Roxy Leisure opened their first Roxy Ball Room site on Leeds’ Boar Lane back in 2013. Following this, they opened their second site and first bowling lane concept, Roxy Lanes, on Leeds’ Bond Street in 2014. Their first Liverpool site opened on Hanover Street in 2016.

The Roxy Leisure group currently have 17 sites across the UK, following their most recent launches in Leicester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol. They also have sites across Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, and Leeds. Roxy Lanes Liverpool School Lane will be launching in November 2023 as part of the group’s extensive expansion plans.

Roxy Leisure’s Commercial Manager, Joel Mitchell, said, “Since opening our first Roxy venue in Liverpool on Hanover Street back in 2016, the people of Liverpool have been nothing short of supportive. Both of our Roxy Ball Room venues have become fixtures in the city’s buzzing hospitality scene, so we’re really excited to be opening our first Roxy Lanes concept in the city. Not only will Roxy Lanes Liverpool feature ten pin bowling and a range of exciting activities, but it will also be family-friendly during selected times.”

Roxy Lanes Liverpool will open in November 2023.
