Roscoe Fox Releases The Eclectic EP ‘A Series Of Extensive Eye Operations
It would take the hardest of creative hearts not to be intrigued by a musical artist named Roscoe Fox, who also has the collective cahoonas to deliver a sonic smorgasbord that is A Series Of Extensive Eye Operations. This Fantastic Mr Fox gives us six tracks which are eclectic and electronic; ethereal soundscapes that hold the interest, and, when it appears, a beautifully melodyned voice that adds to the aural delight. This EP will, given unforced plays, seep like a musical osmosis into the collective consciousness of those who have the pleasure to hear it.
I have a feeling that Roscoe Fox’s true calling lies in production, an area that vies with that other essential, songwriting. Indeed, he has approached his productions duties with a surgical aesthetic, in that there is nothing superfluous. Everything just fits. It wouldn’t surprise me if his future career doesn’t include art installations and actual collaborations. His possibilities could well be endless.
