Motel Sundown Release The Captivating Single ‘Waterfall’

The wonderful sound of Motel Sundown returns with their latest musical endeavour, the newest in a series of releases titled Waterfall, following their triumphant performance at the Black Deer Festival and the release of their single Midnight Blue. The timing couldn’t be more perfect for this collection of songs, which sees the band exploring new musical territories while still staying true to their signature style.

Diving into Waterfall, listeners are treated to a refreshing shift in Motel Sundown’s sound. The song showcases a more delicate and thoughtful approach, expanding on their previous releases, all of which are a culmination of a forthcoming album, which showcase a true range of sounds and the band’s versatility and songwriting prowess.

At the heart lies Motel Sundown’s rich harmonies and guitar-focused American-folk sound, reminiscent of iconic acts like The Eagles. Each track so far has been infused with infectious energy, propelled by soaring melodies and captivating choruses that linger long after the music fades, and this one is no different but delivering in a softer approach.

Naomi, Karen, and Bobby once again demonstrate their musicality, delivering tight performances in what is a very heartfelt track. From start to finish, Waterfall is a testament to Motel Sundown’s growth and evolution as artists. It also features Mikey Jones on keys, Sam Rabette on bass and Ben Wall on drums.

Having already made waves on the live circuit, gracing stages at the British Country Music Festival and Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, Motel Sundown continues to raise the bar. Recorded at the Motor Museum with Ben Harper and mastered by Graeme Lynch at Two Zero Nine, this EP is a testament to the band’s dedication to their craft.

For fans of rock-infused Americana and those looking to discover fresh, compelling music, Waterfall is not to be missed.
