The evening started with Drew Connor providing some earthy vocals and sweet acoustic guitar to die for. With Simon Fletcher on lead acoustic and Drew himself on vocals, the melodic set included ‘Stay on Your Feet’ and finished on ‘Hypocrisy Democracy’, a sobering and heartfelt song about the society we live in. The next act had travelled all the way from Amsterdam to bring her lo-fi excellence to Maguire’s. Pip Blom and her band are…
