leveltap Blackout Fifa Tournament Helps Kick Off The New Premier League Season

Liverpool’s only dedicated esports venue is launching a prize Fifa tournament to coincide with the start of the new Premier League football season.

Starting on Saturday 12 August and then on every following Saturday, gamers are invited to pit their skills in the Blackout Fifa knockout competition from 3-5pm with the final projected onto the venue’s big screen.

It’s just £3 to enter with the winner taking away the whole entry pot plus a bucket of beers or a bottle of Prosecco to toast their success. The runner up will receive a free drink. To sign up for the big kick off visit: Leveltap Liverp… | Events (start.gg)

From Saturday 19 August, leveltap will be showing the real Premier League action, before and after the virtual tournament, starting with Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United at 5.30pm and Manchester City vs Newcastle United at 8pm.

Fans of the Blues will be able to watch Everton away at Aston Villa at 2pm on Sunday 20 August and Reds’ fans can view Liverpool’s visit to Newcastle United on Sunday 27 August at 4.30pm, as well as all the midweek action.

Leveltap will also be showing the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League games, in which this season Liverpool compete, as well as other Main Events sporting spectaculars like World Championship boxing, with tie-in virtual prize events ahead of any big match.

Callum Wilson, co-founder of leveltap, said: “We are big fans of football at leveltap and what better to way to celebrate the beautiful game every week than by hosting our own in-house fifa tournament to fill that time between screening Premier League matches?

“Fifa is already one of the most popular games in our extensive library and we are anticipating a lot of interest in our first tournament. As the football season progresses, we are planning some special events, especially around the two Merseyside derbies.”

Leveltap boasts ten console stations, each containing a Nintendo Switch and either a PS5 or an Xbox Series X, along with two racing simulators and 20 PCs and for all tournaments, players can book their place in advance or take a chance on dropping in.
