Weekly Noise: Week #34

Weekly Noise is a short and straightforward way of sharing Liverpool’s trending news and topics in the form of a weekly poem. Laura Chonzi will take the top trending hashtags or stories on social media and turn them into a ten-line poetic masterpiece for each week of the month, hence the name.

We’re already ten months into the year,
Looks like its end is more than near.
The railway strikes have struck again,
Does that mean all the protests were in vain?
Any thoughts on the Tory conference?
Cause it surely depleted our confidence.
Meanwhile David is making sure Victoria is truthful,
Which is great because honesty proves to be very fruitful.
On the other hand, a lot was revealed during the Atiku Press Conference,
And it’s safe to say that Nigerians are all out of nonsensical tolerance.
