Honest Burgers Duets With Ed Sheeran’s Tingly Ted’s Hot Sauce For August Halloumi Special

Honest Burgers has announced its August monthly special, a collaboration with Tingly Ted’s – the new hot sauce brand from British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and his sidekick, Ted, that’s taking the world by storm.

Tingly Ted’s is designed to make anything a tingly thing. Hot sauce fans in the UK, Europe and America have been going wild for the brand.

Now British consumers get to enjoy it as Honest Burgers become the first brand and restaurant chain to partner with Tingly Ted’s in a special burger that will make your tongue tingle.

Honest Burger’s ‘Ted’s Halloumi Burger’ brings you the classic Honest beef burger drenched in Tingly Ted’s Xtra Tingly Sauce, as well as British halloumi from Briddlesford Farm Dairy, American cheese, crispy onions, avocado ranch mayo, lettuce and pickles.

A lifelong ketchup and hot sauce obsessive, Ed launched Tingly Ted’s as the fulfilment of his dream to make the ‘ketchup of hot sauces’. Working with sauce experts from Heinz, he’s developed a hot sauce like no other, serving the needs of many with just one bottle.

Tingly Ted’s Xtra Tingly Sauce is a jalapeño hot sauce that you can use like ketchup. The fruity jalapeño hot sauce brings lots of extra complexity from smoked sea salt, smoked paprika, and herbs. Lemon and ginger give it a fresh flavour that brings a tingle to your tastebuds.

Adam Layton, Honest Burgers Head of Food said: “Honest and Ed go way back, so we were chuffed when the man himself got in touch asking us to be the exclusive restaurant launch partner for Tingly Ted’s. This burger is a world first for the exciting hot sauce brand that is destined to be Ed’s next global smash hit”.

To bring even more tingles to Tingly Ted fans, Honest Burgers will also be giving away a bottle of Xtra Tingly Sauce to the first 5,000 people who purchase the burger.

The Ted’s Halloumi Burger will be available at all 42 Honest Burgers’ restaurants and via Uber Eats or click & collect from 1 August – 4 September and is priced at £14.50, served with homemade rosemary salted chips for dine-ins and collection or £15.50 with a side when ordered via Uber Eats.

Throughout the month of August, Honest Burgers will also be asking budding superstars to #buskforyourburger by uploading themselves singing a song, on TikTok or Instagram, and tagging @honestburgers and @tinglyteds along with the hashtag to be in with a chance of winning up to  £250 to spend in Honest Burgers.
