Slim Chickens Liverpool: Free Chicken for Life Up for Grabs at New Edge Lane Restaurant

Slim Chickens is opening its second Liverpool restaurant at Liverpool Shopping Park this September – and one lucky customer could win free chicken for life.

Chicken fans have another reason to head to Edge Lane this month, as Slim Chickens prepares to open the doors to its latest Liverpool restaurant on Thursday 17 September 2026.

Opening at 12pm at Liverpool Shopping Park, the new restaurant will launch with thousands of prizes, free Chicken Tenders for its first 100 customers and one particularly big giveaway: free Slim Chickens every week for life.

The Edge Lane restaurant will be Slim Chickens’ second Liverpool location and, to mark the occasion, the American-inspired chicken brand is releasing 5,000 exclusive Fresh Drop cards.

How to win free Slim Chickens for life

The first 5,000 customers to order at the new Liverpool Shopping Park restaurant will receive a Fresh Drop card containing a unique code.

Customers can then download the Slim Chickens UK app, enter the code and find out which reward they have won.

Prizes include Chicken Tenders, Classic Sandwiches, Hand-spun Shakes, Texas Toast and more.

But there’s one card everyone will be hoping to get their hands on.

Hidden among the 5,000 cards is a single Fresh Pass, giving its winner one free chicken meal worth up to £14.95 every week, for life.

Anyone planning on getting down to Edge Lane for opening day might want to arrive early.

When Slim Chickens Liverpool Shopping Park officially opens at 12pm on Thursday 17 September, the first 100 customers through the doors will receive free Chicken Tenders, normally worth £5.45, along with one of the restaurant’s famous house dips.

There will also be a Spin the Wheel competition taking place inside the restaurant, with customers able to win more prizes ranging from Slim Chickens merchandise to Hand-spun Shakes.

Tom Patrick, Marketing Director at Boparan Restaurants, said: “We’re really excited to be opening our second restaurant in Liverpool. We’ve had a fantastic response to Slim Chickens in the city, so Liverpool Shopping Park felt like a natural next step for us.

“We know the people of Liverpool already love our hand breaded tenders and dips, so we’re so excited to be opening another location on Edge Lane.

“We wanted to make this opening a big one, with plenty of reasons for people to come down and celebrate with us. From our Fresh Drop cards and the chance to win free Slims for life, to our opening day Spin the Wheel, there’s lots for our guests to get involved with. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome even more people in Liverpool to Slim Chickens.”

What’s on the menu at Slim Chickens Liverpool?

The new Edge Lane restaurant will serve the full Slim Chickens menu, centred around its fresh, buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders, which are hand-breaded to order.

And if you’re serious about your dipping sauces, there are 15 signature house sauces to choose from, giving customers plenty of chicken-and-sauce combinations to work their way through.

The Liverpool Shopping Park opening is part of Slim Chickens’ continued expansion across the UK under Boparan Restaurant Group.

With free food for the first customers, thousands of prizes and one potentially life-changing Fresh Drop card – at least for anyone who really loves chicken – expect a few people to be getting to Edge Lane early.
