Renshaw Street Food Market Welcomes Three New Vendors and Launches Student Discount
Renshaw Street Food Market has expanded its international food offering with three new independent vendors – alongside a new 10% student discount.
The Liverpool city centre food hall has welcomed Aapli Mumbai Street Food, SHINTAKO and K-Kitchen, adding new Indian, Japanese and Korean dishes to its already extensive selection of global street food.
First up is Aapli Mumbai Street Food, which specialises in Indian street food including Vada Pav, Samosa Chaat, Frankies and Pani Puri. Traditional drinks are also on the menu, including freshly brewed Masala Chai, Mango Lassi and Masala Chaas.
Joining them is SHINTAKO, an independent Japanese kitchen founded by Kyoto-native Kenshin. The business has already developed a following after opening inside Ejoy Asian Foods less than a year ago and has now expanded into Renshaw Street Food Market.
Its menu focuses on freshly prepared Japanese dishes including handcrafted ramen, udon, oyakodon and crispy karaage, with the kitchen aiming to introduce more people in Liverpool to authentic Japanese food and culture.
Completing the new trio is K-Kitchen, serving traditional Korean recipes with a contemporary twist. Its menu includes double-fried Korean fried chicken, sizzling bibimbap and beef bulgogi.
The three newcomers join the market’s existing traders, with food available spanning East Asian favourites to Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Mexican dishes.
Japanese Arcade Culture Arrives In Liverpool
Alongside the new food vendors, Renshaw Street Food Market has also opened a new amusement area operated by Japanese entertainment company GENDA. The company is known for its GiGO amusement centres in Japan and is now expanding its presence internationally.
Its new Liverpool space brings elements of Japanese arcade culture to Renshaw Street, including authentic claw machines, exclusive merchandise and pop-culture retail.
New 10% Student Discount
The expansion also coincides with the launch of a new student offer in time for the start of the 2026 academic year. University and college students can now show a valid student ID at participating vendors to receive 10% off a range of food at the market.

Renshaw Street Food Market first opened in 2022 and is located close to Bold Street at the junction of Renshaw Street, Berry Street and Leece Street.
The indoor market is home to 12 food units alongside a fully licensed bar and entertainment space, with its neon-lit interior taking inspiration from the busy streets and food halls of Asian cities.
All three new vendors and the GENDA amusement area are now open.
