Piri Fino Liverpool Brings Popular Flavour-Led Dining Concept to Seel Street

A mum-of-two from Birmingham has introduced the popular Piri Fino brand to Liverpool, bringing the fresh, flavour-led concept to the city’s thriving food scene.

Located on Seel Street, the restaurant is owned and operated by Sharon Kaur, 42, from Oldbury, who has made the move into hospitality after a successful career in accountancy.

After many years working in finance, Sharon made the decision to step away from the profession to pursue a long-standing ambition of building a business of her own.

Since launching Piri Fino in Liverpool, she has been working seven days a week to establish the business, taking a hands-on approach to every aspect of the restaurant.

Her decision to partner with Piri Fino came from genuine experience with the brand, having been a loyal customer in Birmingham, where it was first established, for over five years.

Choosing Liverpool as the location for her first venture was a deliberate move, with the city’s energy, diversity and strong sense of community making it an ideal place to introduce the brand.

Drawn to its fresh, flavour-led menu and consistent quality, Sharon saw an opportunity to bring a concept she believed in to a new audience, bringing the brand to Liverpool for the first time, with the nearest site previously over 80 miles away.

For Sharon, bringing the business to life required significant personal and financial investment, marking a major milestone for the businesswoman, who has committed fully to making the venture a success.

She has relocated to Liverpool to get the business established, leaving behind her husband, two daughters and wider family. This is a sacrifice that continues to drive her determination and work ethic.

Her family regularly visit, and Sharon has embraced exploring Liverpool and sharing her new surroundings and some of the city’s best experiences with them.

With a capacity of around 100 covers, Piri Fino Liverpool operates seven days a week from 12pm to 11pm, offering the full menu that customers have come to know and enjoy.

From grilled chicken and rice boxes to wraps, burgers and lighter options, the menu focuses on bold flavours, fresh ingredients and a fast-casual dining experience that caters to a wide range of tastes.

Sharon Kaur, owner of Piri Fino Liverpool, explained: “Bringing Piri Fino to Liverpool has been a huge step for me, both professionally and personally. After years in accountancy, I wanted to build something of my own, something I could really believe in.

“I’ve been a customer of Piri Fino for years, so it was a natural choice when I decided to take that step. The food is fresh, full of flavour and something I genuinely enjoy, which made it easy to stand behind as a business.

She added: “Liverpool felt like the perfect place. It’s such a vibrant city with a great atmosphere and a real sense of community. The people have been incredibly welcoming.

“It hasn’t been easy, especially being away from my daughters, but they’re a huge part of my motivation. I want to show them what’s possible through hard work and commitment. I’m doing this for them and their future.”

The Liverpool site marks an important step in the continued growth of the Piri Fino brand, with Sharon playing a key role in expanding its presence beyond its Birmingham roots.
