New Mediterranean-Inspired Cafe & Restaurant Lane & Brew Opens on Lark Lane
A brand-new cafe and restaurant has opened on Lark Lane, bringing Mediterranean-inspired food, cocktails and all-day dining to one of South Liverpool’s most popular destinations.
Lane & Brew has officially opened at number 83 on the bustling street near Sefton Park, and has already become a popular spot for breakfast, brunch and evening dining just weeks after launching.
The new venue serves freshly made Mediterranean-inspired dishes throughout the day, alongside coffees, cocktails, wines and beers in a relaxed and stylish setting.
New owners took over the site in January and spent more than three months transforming the space into a sophisticated yet cosy restaurant and cafe. The interiors feature neutral floor tiles, marble-effect tables, leather seating and greenery-filled decor designed to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu has quickly gained attention thanks to dishes created by the venue’s Turkish chef, including the restaurant’s Smashed Cheese Burger with two beef patties, caramelised onions, cheddar cheese and house-made secret sauce, as well as its popular Salt & Pepper Chicken Wrap.
Lane & Brew’s morning menu is served until 1pm and includes breakfast and brunch favourites, Eggs Benedict dishes, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and toast options.
From 1pm until 5pm, guests can choose from a lunch menu featuring starters including hummus, tahini and creamy garlic mushrooms, alongside kebabs, fajitas, pasta dishes and seafood options such as sea bass fillet served with roasted potatoes, broccoli and asparagus. Diners can also enjoy a starter and main course deal for £14.95.
The evening menu runs until 8pm daily and expands the offering with steak and pasta dishes.
Alongside the food menu, customers can choose from a range of wines, beers, coffees, teas, soft drinks and classic cocktails.
A spokesperson for Lane & Brew said: “We’ve only been open a few weeks and we’re already really busy. Having first wanted to create a coffee shop and brunch venue, we’ve already grown to offer a dinner service in the early evening.
“Lark Lane is such a great location, close to Sefton Park. It’s a lovely, warm and lively place and we’re thrilled to be a part of that.
“At Lane & Brew we want to welcome all ages, families, friends catching up, pet owners — we’re dog-friendly — in fact anyone who likes somewhere they can relax, get together, and enjoy freshly made food, created with passion and served with love.”
