Jaloux To Double In Size As Sell-Out Brunch Demand Sparks Expansion

Jaloux is set to double in size after acquiring the neighbouring former Dorothy’s site, allowing one of Liverpool’s busiest brunch destinations to meet unprecedented demand from guests.

The expansion follows months of sell-out brunches, with owner Amy Gwynn and the team forced to turn away bookings every single week because the venue has simply reached capacity.

Taking over the neighbouring venue will double Jaloux’s capacity, introducing 100% more tables and 100% more entertainment while allowing even more guests to experience the brunches, live performances and vibrant atmosphere the venue has become renowned for.

The additional space will undergo a complete transformation, putting a fresh twist on Jaloux’s signature floral interiors while creating an experience that feels both familiar and entirely new.

Designed as a seamless extension of the existing venue, the expansion will enhance the guest experience while retaining the distinctive style that has made Jaloux one of Liverpool’s best-loved hospitality destinations.

Since opening on Victoria Street, Jaloux has built a loyal following for its immersive brunches, handcrafted cocktails and live entertainment, becoming a go-to destination for birthdays, celebrations and weekends in the city centre. Its brunch offering has become one of Liverpool’s most sought-after, with demand continuing to grow week after week.

The expansion will also allow Amy and the team to continue enhancing the guest experience at Jaloux as they constantly strive to make it the best that it can possibly be.

Amy Gwynn, Owner of Jaloux, said: “The hardest part has been telling people we simply can’t fit them in. Every week we’re turning away bookings because we’ve reached capacity, and that’s never something we wanted for Jaloux.

“This expansion changes everything. It means we can welcome so many more guests whilst continuing to deliver the atmosphere, entertainment and experience people know us for. We’re not creating a second venue – we’re expanding Jaloux, giving it even more personality with a fresh new look that still feels unmistakably Jaloux.

“We’re so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on. Doubling our space means double the tables, double the entertainment and even more unforgettable weekends in the heart of Liverpool.”

The team is currently focusing all of its efforts on the renovations of the former OMG site to launch their newest venue, Campus, on Pride Weekend in Liverpool.

Work will then be underway to transform the neighbouring former Dorothy’s site, with the expanded Jaloux set to welcome guests later this summer.
