Eden Bar Opens In West Derby And Celebrates Successful Summer

Since its launch, Eden Bar in Liverpool has been an instant hit and has quickly added something special to the bustling food and drink scene in West Derby providing customers with a chilled and relaxed atmosphere, serving a selection of local, regional, and international craft beers, a range of classic and seasonal Eden-inspired inspired cocktails, local award-winning artisan spirits and quality wines.

Eden Bar has a garden-inspired concept with a modern floral style, open brickwork, quality wood features and locally produced artwork throughout. As the seasons change so does the drinks menu with spritz cocktails in the summer to the venue’s popular warming tipples in the winter.

The investment in Eden Bar West Bar follows the hugely successful Eden Bar and Garden in Prescot which has been a great success following its launch in 2019. Opening just five days before lockdown, the determined owners ensured it re-opened and it continues to thrive. The mezzanine bar and garden project began as a loving restoration of a vacant unit, which is now a busy space, and it has built a solid reputation in Prescot and its surrounding areas.

Bar Manager Stewart Bilde explains: “As a team we are absolutely delighted with the warm welcome we have received in West Derby – it’s the perfect location for Eden, in a key residential area.

Because we have enjoyed success in our Prescot location, we have developed strong personal and professional relationships with our local brewers and distillers in terms of the beer lines and spirit shelves we stock here in West Derby. Our highly trained staff have an outstanding knowledge of our product ranges, and many have years of experience shaking up some of the best cocktails in the Liverpool city region. Our friendly team is always up for meeting new clients as well as welcoming our regulars.

Here at Eden Bar West Derby, we have a community-led approach and currently work with other local businesses to support local charities and organisations. We are surrounded by wonderful independent businesses in West Derby, and it is vital for us to work together to ensure the area is provided with high-quality, innovative, and contemporary goods and services.

We have already enjoyed a busy summer trading period and it’s not over yet! Eden Bar West Derby plans to host a variety of events starting with our forthcoming Hendricks Gin Summer Party on Sunday 27th August – Bank Holidays are the perfect time to celebrate. The rest of the year already has a diary which is filling up, including our popular Cheese and Wine Evening, and our own Eden Oktoberfest Festival starting on Friday 16th September, featuring the official six Munich beers from the original event. Keep an eye on our socials for future exciting news and announcements.

After positive and useful feedback from our clients, we are also in the process of expanding our lunchtime and early evening provisions. We plan on providing unique coffee and tea options, plus sandwiches and paninis featuring fresh local produce, as well as cheese and charcuterie boards.

We have been thrilled with the response from local residents to our bar. The power of word-of-mouth recommendations, and our social media presence has attracted guests from the West Derby area and beyond, who enjoy our current menus and special offers and promotions. Our decor, design and interior have given us a profile to rival anything on offer in the city centre, and this lovely neighbourhood in Liverpool enables us to provide our very own space which provides both a different and complementary option to the other local restaurants, bars and traditional pubs in the area.

With two locations doing so well, we are consolidating and expanding what we offer at Eden, and hope to further expand on this success in the future.”

Eden Bar West Derby is based at 369, Eaton Road, Liverpool, L12 2AH.
