Delifonseca’s ‘Merry Mess-Free Christmas’ Returns For Festive Celebrations

Delifonseca Dockside is bringing back its much-loved Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner.

Back for a third consecutive year, the hassle-free festive feast has become a firm favourite, with the ready-to-cook meal including everything needed for a delicious holiday feast, from pigs in blankets with sage leaves to maple and poppy seed parsnips and brussels sprouts with Jerusalem butter.

The centrepiece of the dinner is a premium free-range Wirral white turkey courtesy of inhouse butchery, Edge & Son, cooked sous-vide for maximum succulence. And for vegetarians, there’s hazelnut and cashew nut roast stuffed with cheddar.

Restaurant Manager Tom Ford said: “We understand the stress of Christmas prep and want to take that burden off your shoulders once again. We’ve built an impressive fan base of Merry Mess-Free advocates, and this is especially beneficial for those transitioning from guests to hosts, a role often loaded with high expectations.”

The team at Delifonseca has curated a menu true to the traditional Christmas spread, featuring favourites like duck fat roasties and mulled wine braised red cabbage, and with the generous portions there’ll be plenty to enjoy even through Boxing Day.

All items come in thoughtfully packaged trays with clear cooking instructions, and you can even modify your order closer to the date if needed.

The Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner is now available for order online through Delifonseca’s website, with a limited amount available.

Additionally, shoppers can explore a variety of gift items, from local gins to bespoke hampers, both online and in the award-winning Dockside foodhall in Brunswick Quay, open seven days a week leading up to December 25th.

Tom added: “All orders made through the website or in-store can be collected on December 23rd and 24th. It really is the perfect ending to the big day – especially when you’ve not had to do the washing up. All you need to complete your meal is a Christmas pudding or traditional panettone from the deli while stocks last!”

The Merry Mess-Free Christmas Dinner by Delifonseca starts at £32.50 per person. To learn more or to place an order, visit www.delifonseca.co.uk.
