The Kairos Money Mind Single Review

The Kairos have landed their new single Money Mind off the back of some staple Liverpool venue gigs. Their style, unapologetic scouse rock, hits hard from the get go with spats of stories of a girl who’s ‘Money Minded’. The verses are punchy and, where we perhaps might expect the chorus to take it up another level, it instead feels like it’s an anti-chorus. The inclusion of the beautiful scouse accent is reminiscent of The Beatles‘ Polythene Pam and it very much suits the style, moving into the well written guitar solo.

With a tempo and style lending itself well to the likes of EBGBS basement and the sweaty dancing that accompanies it, we’re bound to be seeing more of this band and, as their sound matures (don’t forget they’re only just sitting their exams!) we can expect a more rounded and complete style from these 4 lads.
