With local musicians on the cusp of having regular gigging back, it’s a brilliant time to share with you the latest EP from Liverpudlian Scott Beckett before he inevitably picks up where he left off performing across England and hopefully beyond.

Time to Run is the most recent output, focussing on his acoustically driven sound where his emotional links really create an imagery reference point of a time in his life from where the songs come from. His previous releases have gained him recognition as one of the most promising up and coming singer/songwriters in the North West with his music fitting right into the festival scene. With his Summer 2020 solo acoustic tour being postponed, it’s been an opportunity to continue doing what he loves between releases with his constant writing and releasing, gradually feeding us EPs and snippets into his songwriting, which can now be tracked to see the journey his music has taken since his first release of Take Me Home back in 2018.

With a host of music available to catch up on if you haven’t already heard Beckett’s songwriting talents, you’ve got plenty to catch up as well as his latest EP, which was released 9 July, or better yet, keep an eye out for his rescheduled tour dates on his social media pages.
