Royal Albert Dock Unveils Valentine’s Selfie Spot

With St. Valentine’s favourite day fast approaching, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool has welcomed a Love Tree located outside the Martin Luther King Jr building.

The illuminated sculpture is complete with twinkling ruby red love hearts hanging from the branches and beautiful blooms adorning the gates and bench, offering the most romantic selfie spot in the city. Whether you’re looking for a backdrop to pop the question, or a place to make magical memories, the dock’s latest addition will help your love grow and keep shining brightly.

For the ultimate Valentine’s celebrations, the dock is also running an amazing competition that will give one lucky couple the chance to win ‘Valentine’s Weekend’. Start the celebrations with an intimate cocktail masterclass at Revolucion de Cuba and make your way to Lerpwl for a luxury Chef’s Tasting menu. Retire for the night at Holiday Inn Express and enjoy bubbles and a dock hamper bursting with love themed goodies. To enter, visit albertdock.com before 1pm on Friday 11 February.

Plus, visitors can fall in love all over again as the dock’s venues offer a selection of special menus to mark the occasion, including six dishes and margaritas at Madre, a sharing menu at Gusto and Oysters with cocktail specials at The One O’Clock Gun. Visitors can also choose from an array of retailers to find a perfect gift. From indulgent Strawberries and Cream flavoured fudge at Roly’s Fudge to a treasure trove of handmade jewellery at The Nest, show your love at the dock this Valentine’s Day.
