Food and Drink in Liverpool

Here’s Why We Love Parr Street

Parr Street is probably best known for the world famous recording studio where the likes of Black Sabbath, Moby, Pulp, The Charlatans, Coldplay, Doves and The Beautiful South have recorded albums. There’s also a few other businesses dotted along here but can look pretty unassuming. But Parr Street is also home to three of our favourite places in the entire city, so this is our love letter to them:

Almost Famous

Parr Street Almost Famous

Almost Famous is a Liverpool institution thanks to their burgers, stacked high and full of inventive fillings. The Crack Shack burger is made up of a double cheeseburger, double buttermilk fried chicken, JD maple, smashed tots, bacon rain, awesome sauce, redneck bbq, creamy peppered mayo and pickles. Now, if half of that didn’t make sense, just trust us and get yourself down to Almost Famous for an explosion of taste in your mouth! We love Almost Famous so much that it even made it into our Top 10 Liverpool Restaurants.

Crazy Pedro’s

Best Pizza Places In Liverpool Crazy Pedro's

Crazy Pedro’s is a pretty accurate description of this self-proclaimed part time pizza parlour, full time bar. Grab a frozen margerita and enjoy some fantastic pizza. Crazy Pedro’s sits very high on our list of the best pizza places in Liverpool because once Crazy Pedro’s has touched your lips, you’ll never forget!

Santa Chupitos

Santa Chupitos

Santa Chupitos is the best dive bar in town. Entering this low lit bar you’ll find the chalk boards above the bar filled with creative cocktails. Best known for their five dollar shake cocktail. Make your way into their back room where you can request just about any drinks concoction or allow the bar tender to suprise you with something in this cool, speakeasy-vibe space.

So there’s the only three reasons you need to head over to Parr Street!
