Liverpool Record Shop To Launch Pop-Up ‘Dig At The Dock’ At The Royal Albert Dock

One of Liverpool’s most loved independent record stores, Dig Vinyl, is launching a six-month pop-up at the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool on Monday 28th October. Dig at the Dock will be much more than a replica of its Bold Street store, adding something completely new to the growing mix of independent retailers at the Dock with a collection of new and vintage stock, for music fans of all ages.

Founded by music enthusiasts, Anthony Nyland and Carl Emery in 2014, Dig Vinyl is Liverpool’s premier second-hand independent record shop and has played a key role in the city’s music scene over the years. Being the inevitable product of decades worth of record-dealing, DJ’ing, band managing and music making from its founders, Dig Vinyl has become a destination for tourists and locals, with the Dig at the Dock pop-up promising to offer this and much more.

In addition to an amazingly diverse selection of records, Dig at the Dock visitors will also be able to browse through a variety of memorabilia, books, art prints and merchandise related to music and Liverpool. The team behind the pop-up will also be working with well-known, local independent brands to bring in additional stock, to offer a diverse collection of all things music.

When commenting on the Dock being the chosen location for the pop-up, co-founder Anthony comments, “We’re really excited to join such amazing local independent businesses like Maray, The Nest, Lost Soles & Lunyalita in bringing culture, community and diverse retail and food offerings to the Dock.

“We look forward to working with these other businesses, and getting our friends from venues, radio stations, festivals & events all around the city involved to bring the music to the Dock. We’ve got lots of exciting things planned so watch this space!”

Dig At The Dock is the latest independent pop-up to join the eclectic mix of retailers, bars, restaurants and attractions at the Dock, under the management of Aberdeen Standard Investments.

Dig at the Dock opens on Monday 28th October.
