Jazz Saturdays At Ma Boyle’s In March And April

Ma Boyle’s have announced their next run of Jazz Saturdays from mid-March into April, starting this weekend on Saturday 12 March.

Whilst the intimate hideaway is famed for its fabulous food and drink, the historic maritime hotspot also hosts something with a distinctly musical flavour each and every weekend.

Working with promoters ParrJazz, Ma Boyle’s hosts Jazz Saturdays with some of the region’s most talented names performing, covering all the classic jazz bases whilst infusing it with modern vibrancy. Regulars Blink Monk, Rob Stringer and Frank Griffith star with debutants including The Beau Trio and Crab across the coming weeks.

Iain Hoskins, Ma Boyle’s owner, says: “Jazz just feels right at Ma Boyle’s – the way the venue is lit, with its low ceilings and cosy feel, and we’re tucked away from the madness of the city. It really resonates with our customers and we have people from all of the city coming for the evening, it’s really special to see. ParrJazz are great with their bookings and who we have performing here, there’s lots more exciting bookings for spring too.”

Expect seductive grooves and aural delights each Saturday with some very talented artists dropping in. It’s free entry for all Jazz Saturday shows which start from 8.30pm. Reservations are via www.maboyles.com
