Following selling out their July Birkenhead Future Yard FestEvol All Dayer in 2hrs last Friday Liverpool promoters EVOL return to their spiritual home of the Invisible Wind Factory to complete the trilogy of FestEvol All Day summer events with two August Saturday line ups that encompass the booking ethos of Evol, diverse, original and superb live on stage.
On Saturday 7 August acclaimed electronic producer Kelly Lee Owens makes her Liverpool debut in support of her critically lauded sophomore album Inner Song alongside Yorkshire synth pop live force Working Men’s Club returning to the city following their success at the BBC 6 Music Festival a couple of years back. Liverpool’s beautifully idiosyncratic electronic trio Stealing Sheep perform their 2019 Heavenly Records album Big Wows and FestEvol stalwarts the mighty Tea Street Band return to the fold armed to the teeth with freshly recorded material from their forthcoming and highly anticipated third album.

Saturday 14 August sees a slight switch in musical styles from dance to more traditional indie as London four piece The Big Moon return to the city after selling out their early 2020 O2 Academy show in support of their Top 20 album Walking Like We Do. Uptempo Halifax three piece The Orielles also make a graceful return bringing their seamless second album Disco Volador to life at the Wind Factory after an absence of four years. Indie rock group Black Honey make a third return after hitting the chart highs with a No. 7 album Written & Directed earlier this year and Sheffield pop sensation Rebecca Lucy Taylor formerly of the group Slow Club makes her Evol and Liverpool debut as Self Esteem.
Promoter Revo said: “After selling out our Birkenhead edition in record time it’s a wonderful feeling to be announcing a further two FestEvol events for the region at the much loved Invisible Wind Factory venue. We’ve had an enforced 18 months out the game and I’m encouraged that consumer confidence in live music has returned and these events are tailor made to showcase some of the brightest and best artists in the country under one roof with a beautiful and soon to be announced supporting cast of the best groups from the region and beyond. Both Saturday’s are going to be a beautiful experience with friends surrounded by friends watching their friends perform live on stage, it’s everything we’ve missed and more”
Limited to 1200 capacity early bird tickets priced at £15 are available 9am on Wednesday 19 May with full price £25 tickets on sale 9am Friday 21 May exclusively via Seetickets.
