Concert Square Gets Set For Eurovision Launch Over Three Free Outdoor Parties

The biggest live music programme ever seen on Concert Square is gearing up to start this Sunday 30 April, for their Eurovision Launch Party brought to you by Bailey’s and Ciroc.

MODO & Soho have joined forces to offer a spectacular trio of dates which will celebrate the Eurovision spirit in style, with further parties to follow over the next two weekends.

Liverpool’s best known night-life hotspot will be transformed over three weekends of live music and dazzling production with a feast of colour, fun and energy – making it  the place to be in the heart of the city-centre for visitors and locals alike on Bank Holiday Sunday 30 April; Bank Holiday Sunday 7 May and for the Eurovision Final on Saturday 13 May.

Get ready to party as events are FREE and run from 2pm – 10pm with a host of live musicians, singers, DJs and bands that promise to have you singing and dancing all day and night!

Teams have been busy preparing their plans to bring the square alive, with a host of colourful decor, flags, lights and a live music stage with stellar production. The square will play host to over 18 artists, hailing from Liverpool and the wider North West – with a star-studded headline performance from ABBA Forever, the leading tribute of this iconic Eurovision band who will perform on each of the three dates.

It all kicks off this Bank Holiday Sunday, 30 April from 2pm for the official launch party with a host of brilliant artists. Heading up the date, from appearances at the likes of Reminisce Festival to packed-out club shows with her imitable party brand Show Me Luv, Holly Ellison – who’s joined by a Scouse songstress with an unbelievable talent, Jenny Christine. Supporting artists Ryan Rooney and Brooke bring future star-quality to the opening gig with soulful grooves from local-hero DJ Jimmy Allen.

On Bank Holiday Sunday 7 May; leading the charge is the imitable Dixie Daye; Kiera Weathers; Gary Barker; plus DJs Bear Growls and James Morgan.

The jam-packed programme climaxes with Concert Square’s Eurovision Finale on Saturday 13 May from 2pm with Kayleigh; Shaun Walsh and Rain Castillo. Not forgetting Liverpool Disco Fest DJs & Friends, who take charge of spinning dance floor-focussed classics to build up the energy for ABBA Forever’s headline set as a full, 7-piece live band bringing a close to three weeks of fun!
