Bonk! To Celebrate Release of EP With ‘Bonk! Holiday Weekend’ Party

Electrifying four- piece ensemble Bonk! are set to release their debut EP The Act Of Doing It on 31 March and they will be celebrating in style with their launch party.

Bonk! are set to make waves with the release of their debut EP, bursting with funky psychedelic jazz-rock vibes, this highly anticipated EP promises to captivate listeners with dynamic energy and innovative soundscapes.

Bonk! has rapidly risen through the ranks of independent music. They’ve been leaving audiences in awe with their fresh tunes and magnetic performances. Consisting of a drum kit, synthesiser, guitar, 5-string bass, and poetic lyricism, Bonk! blends experimentation with universality, drawing comparisons to musical giants like King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Yin Yin, and Black MIDI.

The Act Of Doing It EP features four tracks recorded live in a studio setting, with it, Bonk! aim to encapsulate the raw energy and spontaneity of their unforgettable live performances. Each track offers a unique sonic journey, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in Bonk!’s eclectic musical universe.

To celebrate the release of The Act Of Doing It, Bonk! will be hosting a launch event presented by ParrJazz at MetroCola in Liverpool on 31 March, coinciding with the launch of issue 6 of Boot Music Magazine. Support on the night comes from Maia Rowan and Zetland. Fans can expect an intoxicating evening filled with live performances, exclusive merchandise, and an opportunity to connect with the band.
