The Appearance of Bongs in the Movie Industry: Cool Facts

Bongs are large pipes used to smoke Cannabis, which have been popularized in films, music, and even video games. Bongs are a great alternative to smoking Cannabis in joints because they produce a much more intense high, due to the fact that it’s possible to consume a lot more of the smoke that’s released when burning Cannabis. When you smoke a joint, a lot of the smoke escapes. It’s also worth noting that when you smoke a bong, you get all of the smoke at once, which can be very intense.

This post will tell you some cool facts about bongs and their appearances in the movie industry.

True Romance

In the film True Romance, Brad Pitt is seen smoking out of a clear bong. The bong that’s used in the film is a plastic Honey Bear. It’s worth noting that smoking out of a plastic bong can be very bad for your health because you burn and inhale microplastics, which can actually be carcinogenic in large amounts. Instead of smoking out of plastic bongs, smoke out of glass bongs, because chemicals aren’t released when you smoke weed through a glass one. It’s also worth noting that glass bongs are a lot more durable. Plastic bongs tend to deteriorate and fall apart quite quickly. The only risk with glass bongs is breakage, but as long as you take good care of yours, then this isn’t something that you have to worry about.

Jackie Brown

Jackie Brown is one of Quentin Tarantino’s most underappreciated films. His other work, like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and the Kill Bill series, tend to overshadow this marvelous film. In Jackie Brown, Robert DeNiro is seen smoking out of a black dragon bong. The scene in which he is seen smoking out of the bong is iconic. Jackie Brown also features Samuel L. Jackson, a very popular Hollywood actor who voiced Tenpenny, a corrupt police officer based on the real-life CRASH officer David Mack, in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, who is seen, in one scene, smoking out of a rainbow bong.

Evil Bong

Evil Bong is a film directed by Charles Band. It is a stoner film from the early 2000s when this genre was becoming extremely popular. In many respects, the bong in Evil Bong is the main character, since it is a malevolent killer. Evil Bong spawned a franchise, which has become iconic and very popular with B-movie fans. Evil Bong also features Tommy Chong of Cheech and Chong fame, which made the film a lot more relevant and exciting for fans of stoner comedies, since Cheech and Chong was the original stoner comedy.
