Bombed Out Church – Easter Themed Events for Everyone

This Spring the Bombed Out Church will be opening their doors to an eclectic mix of Easter events.

After successfully hosting over 200 events and community projects last year, The Bombed Out Church are looking forward to another busy venue calendar for 2022, which kicks off this Easter with events hosted underneath their renowned clear-roof marquee.

The season starts with Hoppy Easter Party on the 15 of April in partnership with Jumping Jacks. Expect Easter themed games, dancing, competitions, balloon modelling and appearances from Peter Rabbit and friends plus more for the kids to get stuck into!

For the 16 of April, Bombed Out Church have teamed up with Cuthbert’s, to host an unforgettable Afternoon Tea experience. Serving a glass of bubbly on arrival, a delicious choice of sandwiches, an array of cakes including scones and clotted cream, complemented with a selection of teas from Liverpool Tea Warehouse.

The Afternoon Tea will feature up-close magic and DJ playing a variety of tunes tailored to all throughout the day and photo opportunities capturing those special moments with loved ones.

A full range of gins from Liverpool Gin Company and Turncoat Gins plus further spirits, wine, beer, hot drinks (including BOC’s renowned boozy hot chocolates) and soft drinks will be provided. For those with children, there’ll be special Easter activity packs and a storytelling session corner, plus sing songs by the Bookworm Players.

For the 19 of April, Bombed Out Church have joined forces with Our Kids Social for an ultimate Silent Disco, with two channels of music to enjoy, its kids pop vs adults’ guilty pleasures! Tailored for children aged 5-10 and their families, with all ages welcome and pre-walkers go free.

Penultimately, after an immensely successful Makers Market weekend in December, they’re back for the 23 April. Expect artisan market stalls, locally made produce, unique gifts, street food and more.

Lastly (but not least!) for the 24 of April, expect a scenic Wedding Open Day. Featuring stalls from photographers to venue dressers along with our dedicate Wedding and Events team who will be available to chat about special day plans!

“We’re really excited with what we’ve got instore for visitors to the Bombed Out Church this Easter. There’s a whole range of activities and events for both adults and children. We pride ourselves in being a venue hosting events where there’s something for everyone, particularly around a time where people are visiting friends and family, let’s bring everyone together! Thoughtful preparation has gone into these events and with our team expanding, 2022 is set to be an eventful year”. – Sarah-Louise Jones, Venue Coordinator.
