Piri Fino Liverpool Celebrates First Birthday After Serving 70,000 Orders in Just One Year

Piri Fino Liverpool is celebrating its first anniversary after clocking up an impressive 70,000 orders in just 12 months, with new meal deals launched to mark the milestone.

Located on Seel Street, the restaurant was brought to Liverpool by Birmingham businesswoman Sharon Kaur, who swapped a career in finance to pursue her ambition of running her own business.

Originally from Oldbury, Sharon had been a loyal customer of the Birmingham-born Piri Fino brand for more than five years before deciding to introduce it to Liverpool’s thriving food scene.

With the nearest Piri Fino restaurant previously more than 80 miles away, she spotted an opportunity to bring the popular fast-casual dining concept to a new audience.

Despite the challenges of launching a restaurant in an unfamiliar city and making a major career change, Sharon has spent the past year establishing the business in Liverpool.

Now, with 70,000 orders under its belt, Piri Fino Liverpool is looking ahead to its second year with a renewed focus on affordable, freshly prepared food.

To celebrate its first birthday, the restaurant is highlighting a range of deals aimed at students, families and city centre workers.

Students can enjoy a wrap, side and drink for £6.99, or the restaurant’s popular Taste Pot meal for £7.99, with both offers available daily. There’s also 20% off the bar menu for students, excluding cocktails, which are already available on a two-for-one offer.

For those looking for a weekday lunch, Piri Fino has introduced an £8.99 collection deal, available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm, including a wrap, side and drink.

The restaurant’s menu features everything from grilled chicken and rice boxes to wraps, burgers and lighter dishes, with an emphasis on bold flavours and 100% natural ingredients.

Speaking about the milestone, Sharon Kaur, owner of Piri Fino Liverpool, said: “When I look back at the last 12 months, I feel incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. Moving from finance into hospitality was a big change for me, especially opening a restaurant in a city where I was completely new to the market.

“I’ve always loved Piri Fino as a customer, and I genuinely believed Liverpool was the right place to bring the brand. But no matter how much you believe in something, you never really know how it will work out until you take that step.

“It’s been a year of hard work, learning and plenty of challenges, but reaching 70,000 orders in our first year is something I’m really proud of. Liverpool has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Looking to the future, Sharon hopes to continue growing the restaurant’s customer base while keeping quality food accessible.

She added: “As we head into our second year, my focus is on continuing to build the business and making Piri Fino somewhere people can enjoy regularly. I know affordability is important, especially for students and families, but I also believe people shouldn’t have to compromise on quality to enjoy good food.

“Taking that first step was a big decision, but looking back now, I’m glad I did. There’s still so much I want to achieve with Piri Fino and, for me, this is only the beginning.”

Piri Fino Liverpool is located on Seel Street and is open seven days a week, from 12pm until 11pm.
