New Artisan Bakery & Food Trailer, Frankley’s Bakery, Bring Fresh Food Experience to Sefton Park

Visitors to Sefton Park are set to enjoy an exciting new food and drink destination this summer as the award-winning team behind Liverpool favourite The Watering Can launches Frankley’s Bakery alongside a stylish new mobile catering food trailer by the park’s boating lake.

Known for creating one of the city’s most loved café-bistro experiences, the hospitality team has expanded with the introduction of its own artisan bakery, producing freshly baked breads, pastries and sweet treats daily from a dedicated bakery space inside sister venue The Wheelbarrow on Greenbank Lane.

From Thursday to Sunday, visitors can pick up fresh bakes directly from The Wheelbarrow from 9am to 4pm, while the eye-catching Frankley’s Bakery trailer will serve park-goers every Saturday and Sunday from 9am–5pm on the outskirts of Sefton Park near the boating lake.

Designed to complement a leisurely day in the park, the trailer will offer artisan pastries and breads alongside premium coffees, speciality teas, matcha drinks, lattes, iced and soft drinks – perfect for local residents, walkers, families, cyclists and weekend visitors looking to relax and refuel in one of Liverpool’s most scenic green spaces.

The bakery’s handcrafted range includes brioche rolls, Parisienne baguettes, focaccia and sourdough, as well as indulgent pastries including all-butter croissants and speciality puff and shortcrust creations and seasonal favourites.
