Giant Cherry Blossoms to Bloom on Castle Street Ahead of The Ivy Asia Liverpool Opening

Castle Street will be transformed next week as giant whimsical cherry blossom trees take root in the heart of Liverpool city centre, celebrating the arrival of one of the city’s most anticipated restaurant openings.

The installation, appearing on Tuesday 7 October from 12–3pm, marks the countdown to the launch of The Ivy Asia Liverpool, a luxurious Asian-inspired dining destination opening this autumn inside the historic former Bank of England building.

As part of the activation, visitors will discover golden envelopes hidden among the blooms, revealing exclusive details including the restaurant’s official opening date and how to secure bookings for the festive season and beyond.

The Ivy Asia is famed for its bold interiors, show-stopping design, and menu that blends exquisite Asian-inspired dishes with carefully crafted cocktails. Guests on Castle Street will get an early taste of that experience, with live entertainment complementing the spectacular cherry blossom display.

Those who interact with the installation will also gain priority access to table reservations, ensuring they’re among the first to step inside one of Liverpool’s most exciting new culinary spots.

Perfect for everything from indulgent lunches to late-night drinks, The Ivy Asia promises to be a glamorous addition to the city’s vibrant food and drink scene, sitting alongside its neighbour, The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie.

More details about the restaurant’s grand opening will be revealed soon. Sign up for exclusive news and offers. In the meantime, food lovers can follow @TheIvyAsia on Instagram for exclusive updates, sneak peeks, and booking announcements.
