Liverpool venue Buyers Club is set to see the New Year in style later this month as local promoter Abandon Silence takes the helm of the occasion for the second year running.
For this year’s edition, Dan Shake – the first ever non-Detroit artist to be signed to Moodymann’s prestigious label Mahogani Music – will be joining resident Abandon Silence DJs Andrew Hill, Harry Sheehan and Tom Lye to kick off the new year at the Hardman Street venue.
Shake’s appearance at Buyers Club comes after a hugely successful year, which has seen him work crowds across Europe and top many end of year charts for Track of the Year with his track Claudia’s Trip.
Andrew Hill, Founder of Abandon Silence, says:
“We’re thrilled to have Dan Shake joining us in Liverpool for what’s set to be a brilliant night! This year has been huge for Abandon Silence with shows at Dimensions, Farr Festival and Invisible Wind Factory as well as many more. We’ve also had some great shows at Buyers Club so it only seems right to kick off the New Year upstairs in the club.”
Tickets are priced at £15 and on sale now here.
