World Mental Health Day -Threshold To Host Free Event at Williamson Square; 10th October
Threshold have programmed the forthcoming World Mental Health Day celebrations in Liverpool’s Williamson Square. The free event which takes place this Friday from 12.00-17.00 will be their second year working with Liverpool Mental Health Consortium to provide entertainment from some of Merseyside’s best community performers and organisations.
A commissioned World Mental Health Day Community Choir will top off the day’s performances, led by MD Kaya Herstad Carney. The choir which was open to all, have been meeting and rehearsing since August.

The stage, which is to be hosted by members of improvised comedy collective; Impropriety will see performances from Wirral based vocal quartet The Night & Days and the spectacular Merseyswing, who will also run a take part workshop earlier in the afternoon for all.
Zumba specialists Movema will be on hand to give a taster of their brilliant fun keep fit routines while with a more ethereal approach to health, local artist Tristan Brady-Jacobs will give free creative making workshops.
The Lord Mayor will open proceedings for the day which will also see many of the great health focussed organisations come together to celebrate this important day in the world calendar.
