WILDWRIGHTS: Free Nature Writing Event at Liverpool’s Sudley Walled Garden

Liverpool’s Theatre in the Rough and Growing Sudley CIC are inviting people to unleash their imaginations and connect with the great outdoors at Wildwrights – a free nature writing event at Sudley Walled Garden in Mossley Hill on Saturday, 30 March.

With experienced guides on-site, this experience is tailored for writers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned wordsmith or a budding storyteller, you’ll have the opportunity to craft poetic treasures and captivating tales inspired by the garden’s vibrant ecosystem. No experience is necessary, as free wild writing guides and materials will be provided.

Chris Fittock, Director of Theatre in the Rough, said: “We aim to spark creative adventures for curious minds by encouraging connections with the natural world. Nature is an amazing collaborator, and there’s nothing quite like a breath of fresh air to inspire the literary spirit.”

The events are family-friendly but are open to anybody wanting to make the most of a natural writing haven. Admission is free, but booking in advance is essential, by going to growingsudley.com/all-events/wildwrights-wild-writing-workshops
