Weekly Noise: Week #41

Weekly Noise is a short and straightforward way of sharing Liverpool’s trending news and topics in the form of a weekly poem. Laura Chonzi will take the top trending hashtags or stories on social media and turn them into a ten-line poetic masterpiece for each week of the month, hence the name.

No one’s happy about Nigel Farage’s pay,
That’s why they’re all boycotting the show’s stay.
The possibilities of snow keep proving to be high,
Let’s just pray that it doesn’t end with a sigh.
November is already coming to a close,
Time to prepare your Christmas pj pose.
Apparently the King has been profiting from the deceased,
We can only hope that he gets ceased.
Israel and Gaza are now discussing a truce,
We can only hope that it happens over some juice.
