Weekend-long Paddy’s Day Festival Coming To Camp and Furnace

From green lager to free parties and 10,000 pints of Guinness –
plans are announced for city venue’s WEEKEND-LONG St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza
Camp and Furnace today revealed that their Paddy’s Day celebrations this year and they’re bigger than ever before.
Running across an entire weekend on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, the Baltic Triangle venue will be kicking things off in style with a traditional Irish breakfast on both days, including including white pudding, soda farl and potato bread and pint of Guinness for only £15 per person.
Saturday breakfast is followed by a FREE Paddy’s Day daytime party running from midday to 7pm, and featuring Liverpool’s biggest Guinness bar and free Tayto crisps.

With music from a live Irish band, organisers will also be screening coverage of all of the six nations rugby on the venue’s giant screen.
From 9pm, the venue is transformed into Paddy’s House Party, (ticketed) with the best Irish bangers from The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Bewitched, The Corrs & everything in between, plus a disco set from Sh*t Indie Disco.
Sunday 17 starts with a ticketed Irish breakfast from 10am – midday and then a free TWELVE HOUR daytime party in the venue’s huge drinking hall, winding up at midnight.
As well as bringing the biggest free parties to the city, event organisers have also revealed that they’ll be creating a one-off Paddy’s lager that’s bright green especially for the weekend, alongside Pot of Gold Fish Bowls, Club Orange and Vodka Slushies.
Speaking about the event, Bill Price, Internal Events Manager commented:

“After the success of our St. Patrick’s Day event last year, we decided to go all out this year with a full weekend of celebrations which will be our biggest yet.

We’ve got the biggest Guinness bar in Liverpool and anticipate that we’ll get through more than 10,000 pints over the weekend as well as our specially brewed bright green Paddy’s Day lager which we know customers are going to love.”
