Preview: Neighbourhood Weekender Returns To Warrington Boasting Its Best and Biggest Line-Up Yet

Neighbourhood Weekender 2026 returns this May Bank Holiday for its eighth year to Victoria Park in Warrington, boasting one of the best line-ups of the UK festival season so far.

With huge names like Blossoms and Richard Ashcroft headlining, and local Liverpool legends such as Cast, Keyside, and Jamie Webster to name a few, it seems as though 2026 will be one of the weekend festival’s greatest turnouts since the inaugural line-up in 2018.

Following the recent release of their new single, Joke About Divorce, Blossoms’ headliner status on the line-up has sparked rumours of tours and a new album being announced during the set in Warrington this May. As one of the biggest current indie-rock bands, the local Stockport lads are renowned for putting on an electric opening set for headliners, with hits such as Charlemagne, and the incredibly catchy album Gary always getting a crowd riled and ready, but this time, Blossoms conclude the festival during one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend.

If brit-pop’s more your style, the legendary Richard Ashcroft closes the first night of the festival on the main stage. In light of his latest UK tour, Ashcroft returned to the masses to create nostalgia and re-introduce the classic 90s brit-pop sound- in particular the infamous Bittersweet Symphony. Check out our coverage of Richard Ashcroft’s recent show at the M&S Bank Arena.

Another key act to catch on the weekend is up-and-coming rock-group Keo, who have truly cemented themselves as one of the freshest rising bands of the line-up- even headlining many UK festivals this year.

Don’t fancy indie or rock? Neighbourhood Weekender has got you covered. Classic pop-artists like Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Melanie C are bringing back more 90s energy to the line-up and are guaranteed to play iconic tracks sure to get you on the dancefloor.

Joining these on the line-up include artists like Alessi Rose and Nxdia, as well as the DMA’s, Example and The K’s, all promising to deliver performances not to be missed.

It was certain that it would be hard to beat last year’s line-up which featured some of indie’s biggest artists: Inhaler, The Wombats, The Royston Club and Wunderhorse. However, I think for the eighth year in-a-row, Neighbourhood Weekender has secured itself as the North-West’ s biggest and best weekend for UK indie and rock music.
