The Brink Encourages Guests To Go ‘Tea-Total’ To Celebrate Worldwide Afternoon Tea

Brink Afternoon Tea

To celebrate Worldwide Afternoon Tea this week (Wednesday, 18), The Brink is encouraging its customers to go ‘tea-total’.

In the hopes of creating ‘a great British experience’, the popular Parr Street venue will serve a selection of Afternoon Tea variations that are ideal for those with both a savoury and sweet tooth.

General Manager Carl Bell said: “What better way to celebrate Worldwide Afternoon Tea than with mid-day munchies and a nice big cuppa – or even a non-alcoholic fizz for those who want something even more indulgent!

“As afternoon tea remains a popular British tradition, we hope that our quirky spin on it will add to the tea-fuelled merriments amongst friends and family.”

With four variations available, guests can choose from an assortment of packages to suit their tastes and appetites. Those wanting a classic experience can opt for Afternoon Tea, which consists of English tea or The Brink’s own house blend coffee with an assortment of traditional Finger Sandwiches, Warm Scones served with Double Cream and Strawberry Jam and a section of Miniature Cakes and Pastries.

For the ultimate treat, the Celebration Tea features all of the above along with added extras such as the alcohol-free “Shampagne Cocktail” enjoyed with Fresh Strawberries and an Indulgent Chocolate Dip.

Other variations include Cream Tea, which simply contains Warm Scones served with preserves and tea or coffee, as well as Kids’ Afternoon Tea, which provides little ones with Ham, Soft Cheese and Jam Sandwiches with a selection of Miniature Cakes and Chocolate Dipping Strawberries, served along with an “Iced Fruit Crushie” or Hot Chocolate.

Carl added: “With our great range of afternoon tea options, The Brink is the perfect place to celebrate Worldwide Afternoon Tea. Whether guests are looking for a relaxing afternoon with friends, or a novel place to take the family – our laid back ambience and great music make us a great all-rounder.

“Let’s bring everyone together and clink teacups!”
