How To Support Liverpool’s Independent Businesses This Christmas

Support Independent Artists This Christmas

The copious amount of mulled wine and cheese, very rarely leaving the house, and spending a slightly ridiculous amount of time in pyjamas I can fully get on board with, but it’s the rest of it that I could quite happily avoid all together if I had a choice – the awkward office party, the even more awkward walk of shame back to your desk the day after, the conversations with over curious relatives you haven’t seen since last Christmas and then of course having to brave the crowds of panic stricken shoppers.

Hoping to make your Christmas shopping a little easier this year and avoid that dreaded and all too familiar high street hell, I’ve put together a list of some wonderfully unique gift ideas and independent stores in Liverpool.

Turncoat Gin

TurnCoat
Everyone loves a gin don’t they? I’d love it even more if someone bought it for me, Turncoat are not only locally based but they’ve also just released 50cl bottles – just in time for Christmas!

They also recently collaborated with the one and only Leaf on Bold Street to launch their ‘Bold Str Chai Gin’ (which is unbelievable).

Mi Vida
Mi Vida has been on Bold Street for a few years now, but I still feel that it deserves more recognition!  It has the most wonderfully unique gifts, homeware, stationary and even fresh flowers made to order!

They’ve started filling their shop with Christmas gift ideas including handmade ornaments for your tree
