Smithdown Road Festival Announce First Wave of Acts For 2017 Event
Smithdown Road Festival has announced the first wave of acts ahead of this years festival in April.
Former Zutons frontman Dave McCabe is the most notable announcement to play the free, three day event along with London rockers Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind.
Former frontman of indie band The Bluetones, Mark Morriss is also on the bill and HAARM will be performing off the back of supporting Bloc Party at the Roundhouse in London.
The line up also includes Liverpool favourites, Sheepy, Katie Mac, The Shipbuilders and Lilium, plus loads more. With another 139 acts to announce there will be plenty more exciting names to come.
The festival will see stage takeovers from Liverpool promoters including Yeah Buddy and Liquidation as well as record label Skeleton Key Records (founded by The Coral’s James Skelly) which will see some great talent on display across the three days.
There will be plenty of activities for all the family including an outdoor food market, a comedy stage, a Smithdown Comic Con, a pop up cinema and photo/art exhibitions. There will also be plenty of participation from Smithdown’s bars and restaurants.
