Sixty Kitchen Arrives in Formby 

A brand new innovative culinary experience is now open in Formby, Merseyside. Sixty Kitchen is setting out to revolutionise the at-home dining and will deliver sophisticated Chinese cuisine directly to your door. Led by Head Chef Jon Foster Green formerly of the prestigious Tattu restaurants in Manchester, Leeds and London Sixty Kitchen is set to transform the at home dining market delivering accessible, luxury dining at home.

Opening seven days a week, Sixty Kitchen will deliver its signature set menu curated to satisfy up to four people at a fixed price of £60. The tantalizing menu will consist of two starters, two mains and two sides and will be a mixture of classic Chinese dishes such as BBQ pork ribs, chili shredded beef and special fried rice as well as authentic dishes including soy glazed beef rib and blackened hake.

The chefs at Sixty Kitchen have also developed a plant-based menu that will be available alongside the original menu, with dishes such as asparagus curry and wild mushroom and truffle roll there is something for everyone at Sixty Kitchen. The menu will also change monthly showcasing the skills of the chefs with all dishes cooked with passion, technique and innovation.

At the heart of Sixty Kitchen lies a dedication to excellence. To ensure uncompromising standards, only 60 delivery slots per day will be available. This meticulous attention to detail guarantees that every dish is prepared to perfection and delivered with care. To streamline the ordering process, Sixty Kitchen has developed a bespoke app with a seamless, user-friendly interface. All orders must be placed through this custom-made app, which enables customers to conveniently select and pre-book their preferred delivery time slot in advance.

Merseyside native and Michelin-trained Head Chef Jon Foster-Green brings a wealth of expertise to Sixty Kitchen, with a remarkable culinary journey that includes renowned establishments such as Northcote Manor, Tattu, and Australasia. Recognised for his talent, Jon also made his mark on BBC’s “Masterchef the Professionals,” impressing judges with his innovative flavours and creative dishes.

Jon has been developing the concept of Sixty Kitchen with the owners for over six months and is excited to bring a new level of quality to at home dining; “Our vision with Sixty Kitchen is to raise the bar of at home dining and celebrate the best Chinese cuisine. We have created some really amazing menus that offer all the classic Chinese dishes people know and love but we will also give people the opportunity to try something new that they maybe wouldn’t usually. The ingredients we will use have all been sourced locally where possible, it is very important that we use only the best, freshest ingredients in our cooking as this allows the flavours to really shine. Myself and the team are excited to open in Formby and can’t wait to surprise and delight our guests with unique combinations and imaginative dishes!”

Located at 23 Chapel Lane, nestled in the heart of Formby Village, Sixty Kitchen will initially serve the L37 postcode. However, the team is actively exploring expansion opportunities to cater to other areas of Merseyside and expand throughout the UK in the near future.
