Only ten minutes from Liverpool city centre,  Sefton Park Hotel is a fantastically renovated four storey Victorian villa retaining many period features and character. It is located in 200 acres of Liverpool’s best loved park, Sefton Park, which is home to a boating lake, a band stand and statues of Eros and Peter Pan. The Park is home to the famous Palm House, a fabulous glass panelled building that has been restored to it’s former glory and houses hundreds of exotic floral plantings. A great place to stay if you are attending one of the Sefton Park events and has a stunning outdoor terrace space for pre-event drinks.

2. 16 Ensuite Bedrooms and a self-contained Coach House for six guests

The Sefton Park Hotel houses 16 ensuite bedrooms, including  3 family rooms that sleeps 4 guests, all including tea and coffee making facilities and some with stunning views of Sefton Park. The purpose built Coach House, which sleeps up to six guests has a separate living area with a 65” TV along with a micro wave and a fridge.

The Hotel has a fully licensed wedding venue and is the perfect place to say “I do”. The Lakeside Suite has a purpose-built bar and can accommodate up to 120 for a wedding breakfast. A beautiful marquee attached to the Lakeside Suite, which leads to  an outside terrace space, can accommodate up to 50 guests  with the entire suite boasting a capacity of 200 for an evening reception, party or celebration.  With packages to suit every budget and guest accommodation available it is the perfect venue to make any wedding or celebration magical and memorable.

5. Stuarts Bar and Lounge

Stuarts Bar and Lounge at The Sefton Park Hotel is a nod to Beatles bassist Stuart Sutcliffe, whose family  made the venue their home from 1959-1971. Open 7 days a week from Breakfast until late.   Fresh  food is prepared using locally sourced produce and there is a fully licensed bar serving a great selection of of beers, wines and spirits.   

6. Vintage Afternoon Tea

The Sefton Park Hotel serves  a mouth-watering traditional afternoon tea in the lounge overlooking 200 acres of breathtaking parkland. Enjoy Liverpool’s most decadent British favourite which is lovingly homemade in-house and served on a collection of the prettiest boutique Bone China. 

The afternoon tea includes a selection of  finger sandwiches, freshly baked fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, a savoury cheese scone and a delicious array of home-made cakes and delicacies. The afternoon tea is served with a choice of Earl Grey, English loose-leaf tea, or fresh ginger and mint infusions for £17.95 per person. Alternatively add a glass of prosecco for only £22.95 per person. The culinary experience can be enjoyed in the hotels dining room, or alfresco on the recently refurbished and beautifully planted terrace in the shadows of the historic building which overlooks the Sefton Park boating lake.

7. Sunday Roast

As traditional Sunday Roasts go, Sefton Park Hotel serves a fantastic home-cooked favourite. Tables are available to book from 12-7pm every Sunday to enjoy and a roast of your choice served with all the trimmings. Guests can enjoy 2 courses for £19.95 or 3 courses for £24.95, with children’s menu’s available for £8.95 (including ice-cream and soft drinks). Mains include a choice of Roast Sirloin of Beef, Roast Chicken Supreme and are served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, creamy mash, roasted parsnips and carrots and a selection of seasonal green vegetables and of course home-made gravy!  Save room for a pudding, as a selection of delicious desserts are also on the men. 8. Stunning Terrace with Horse Box Bar
