New Nail Spa & Cafe; ‘Lifestyle Collective’ Bringing New Life To Liverpool’s Beauty Scene On Allerton Road
Lifestyle Collective sits snugly towards the Mossley Hill end of Allerton Road, it’s signage on the outside is an early indicator of what to expect from this stylish new nail spa and cafe, on the inside.
Lifestyle Collective is here to promote ‘a fresh new concept for Liverpool’s beauty scene’ – and that is to create more than just another nail spa. They are creating an environment where you can meet up with friends, relax and unwind. The open plan layout allows for a versatile space, with a row of luxury armchairs on one side where you can have your nails taken care of and a cafe area where you can sit with a tea (locally sourced from Brew Tea), coffee, latte, espresso, whatever you fancy, as well as enjoying a slice of cake provided by the fantastic Liverpool cake maker Say It With Flours while reading the papers and magazines. There’s also a private treatment room for treatments like waxing and eye treatments.
When we called in last week we were greeted by the friendly owner, Rachel, who was beaming with happiness after a very successful first six weeks. They are already getting their ‘regulars’ who have made new friends with fellow customers in the laid back surroundings and creating a real community feel.
I opted to go for ‘The Luxury Lifestyle Manicure’ which included a file, shape and cuticle fix followed by an exfoliation and deep hand and arm massage. You are then treated to a shoulder and scalp massage before your nail polish is then applied. It was an added luxury to a usual manicure and brought back the glamour feeling of treating yourself to a nice chilled out afternoon of pampering. I met several of the beauty therapists who were so friendly and added to the experience and the relaxed environment. Life slows down a little bit when you’re there and you chat idly to those around you.
The great thing about Lifestyle Collective is that you can just call in for a drink and a relax in this versatile space. If you are lucky enough that they may have drop in availability you may get more than just a coffee that day!
Lifestyle Collective also offer ‘Collective Nights’ where you can book the space for a group of up to 8 friends and canapés and fizz are provided whilst you each enjoy a treatment. It sounds like a great idea for birthdays, hen party’s or just for a fun night with friends.
