Mr Scruff Makes Kazimier Debut With ‘Keep It Unreal’ Show In November
Mr Scruff makes long awaited first appearance at the Kazimier on November 13th before venue closes its doors forever.
Mr Scruff’s ‘Keep It Unreal’ marathon DJ sets have long represented a sure-fire good time party with a journey through sound.
With the closure of the microcosm of joy that is the Kazimier hurtling towards us, it’s become apparent that there are some acts that simply have to play within the hallowed walls of this Liverpool institution before it’s too late.
A venue that has provided countless moments of aural pleasure, beautiful scenes of debauchery and all round good times to the people of Liverpool; it is fitting that the Ninja Tune veteran is given the opportunity to bring his Keep It Unreal show to the Kaz and be a part of the legacy of this fantastic space.
And with that Mr Scruff will be welcomed to the Kazimier on Friday November 13th for an unequaled 5 hours of jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, disco, deep house, reggae, afrobeat, latin, electro, techno, new wave and sounds that don’t even fit a genre. Mr Scruff and the Kazimier are the perfect match.
With the Kazimier working in association with Bam Bam Bam and Madnice to bring this showcase of sounds as part of the final run of gigs in the venue, it’s set to be one of the gigs of the year. An opportunity to enjoy the sounds of a DJ that represents the spirit of the venue like few others can. It’s the first and last chance, it will likely be a classic.
