Motel Sundown Release The Wonderfully Woven Track ‘Before Midnight’

With an impressive array of festivals and radio plays already under their belts, Motel Sundown are firmly on track to build on their previous successes with their latest single release Before Midnight and show off more of those wonderfully woven folk rock harmonies.

The line up, consisting of Naomi Campbell, Karen Turley and Rob Johnson, seems like it has the talent and musicality to go the distance when it comes to keeping listeners enamoured with the Americana style that they brilliantly showcase, with their newest release capturing the best of their qualities as a group.

Their debut single Chicago was released last year to critical acclaim followed by Light of My Life, with both garnering support from local radio station BBC Merseyside and further afield with airplay on BCMA Radio and BBC Radio Ulster. With Naomi and Karen both hailing from Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland, their vocal chemistry together jumps out of every track, with Rob’s delicate guitar licks and slides punctuating their sound with style.

They’ve already earned themselves a name in the Country/Americana world, having performed at Country on the Coast, The Grand Opry Sessions (Liverpool) along with supporting Alice Walker at the renowned Grateful Fred Sessions, and if they continue to follow in the footsteps of their musical influences (Fleetwood Mac,The Eagles, Dolly Parton and Neil Young) it won’t be long before we see them taking their music to the next level.

Be sure to check out their latest music video which features a home-movie style look at some of their favourite Liverpool venues and landmarks!
