Mamasan Restaurant and Bar to open in Liverpool One in May

Contemporary South East Asian inspired restaurant and bar, Mamasanwill take up residency at Liverpool ONE, on Monday 17 May, in line with the Government’s roadmap announcement, and creating more than 50 jobs in the city.

Mamasan’s premium experiential dining concept captures the true essence of modern South East Asia; elevated with the best of Great Britain’s produce from farm, field and sea. Spanning a 6,875 sq ft space, across three-floors, Mamasan restaurant and bar will feature striking interiors, DJs, a vibrant culinary offering, and an expansive panoramic roof terrace.

An exciting addition to the city’s restaurant scene, Mamasan is led by hospitality entrepreneur Brad Stevens, also founder and creator of Bar Soba, which now operates from five locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds, and the rebellious pizza brand, Pizza Punks, with restaurants and an online national delivery range.  Liverpool will be Mamasan’s second site, following its debut launch in Glasgow in July 2020, where it quickly became a celebrity hot spot in the city and demand was high, with a three-week wait to get a table.

The 200-cover restaurant and bar will feature an ultra-chic monochrome fit out for the ground level dining space, complete with relaxed booths, marble topped tables and open timber-framed kitchen. A floating floral adorned staircase will span the building, leading up to the mezzanine floor’s social and private dining spaces, and then to the roof top bar; seamlessly evolving from indoor to outdoor dining and drinking. Mamasan’s spirit flows throughout the space, and it will be fitted out with a unique, high caliber sound system that’s inspired by Japanese listening bars.

The ‘sides’ on this South East Asian inspired menu are just as appealing, featuring, Loch Fyne Oysters with sour fruit, chilli and lemon, and Singapore Crab Fried Rice.

Mamasan has an extensive drinks selection that showcases creative mixology, with inventive cocktails, and complements the chefs’ offering, including fine wines, craft beers, and premium spirits. The bar’s mixologists are renowned for their indulgent classics and signature cocktails to wow; using fresh produce mixed with handmade shrubs, syrups and some molecular magic.
