Liverpool’s Win Win Water Secures Investment From UK Rap Duo Krept & Konan

Liverpool-born brand Win Win Water has attracted support and investment from a number of unlikely stars to take the water brand to the next level, making it available worldwide.

Rappers Krept & Konan have come on board after being enamoured with the concept and product and the brand have also gained support from Dragon’s Den Austria’s Heinrich Prokop.

Win Win Water, created by friends Kurt Wilson, 38, and Josh Daley, 30, is the first of its kind and is made up of both a completely biodegradable, earth-friendly and non toxic water bottle that’s made out of plant-based materials, and the water inside that’s sourced from The National Forest UK & Austrian Mountains, and is naturally alkaline and high in electrolytes and minerals.

With Kurt having a background in business, owning a successful Juice company, he was searching for an alternative to standard plastic bottles, hoping to make a sustainable change to the environment. After identifying the right material, he found that it wasn’t available in mass production and with Josh and a group of 10 other friends, and three and a half years ago, they came together and got to work on creating a water brand; Win Win Water.

Having recently Crowdfunded to raise money to push the product, Kurt and Josh took to LinkedIn to share their fundraising efforts where Konan of British rap duo Krept & Konan saw the posts and reached out.

After a Zoom call the following day, Krept & Konan have since invested and will help to communicate the benefits of Win Win Water, whilst showing just how transformative the water brand will be for both individuals and the environment.

Win Win Water’s core ethos is being a Win for the planet and a Win for people.

The brand has also attracted another strategic partner; Austrian Dragon’s Den star Heinrich Prokop who has partnered with Win Win Water. After meeting the entrepreneur at The International Food Expo, Heinrich has secured orders into Central Europe and will be supporting Win Win Water with international sales.

Co-Founder Kurt Wilson explained: “For the last five years, I’ve been researching toxin-free, biodegradable bottles and myself and the team are immensely proud of how far we’ve come with Win Win Water. A bottle that has zero fossil fuels unlike plastic and cans, it’s 100% plant-based and fully biodegradable; something we feel is absolutely paramount for both the planet and people. Whilst plastics take 500 years to degrade and form toxic forever chemicals, Win Win Water’s has zero toxins which means zero forever micro plastics which is much better for our health.

“Our aim is to swap out 10 million plastic bottles with Win Win Water across both the UK and Europe in 2025 and we’re confident with the backing of both Heinrich Prokop and Krept & Konan we’ll be able to achieve that.”

Co-Founder Josh Daley added: “As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, we want to thank both Heinrich Prokop and Krept & Konan for believing in the power of Win Win Water and its potential to have a profound effect on our people and planet. The water is currently available through our website, Sugar & Lime Distribution in Liverpool and Zepbrook distribution in the South, and we’re very excited to share that several supermarkets and huge cafe chains will be announced in the coming weeks. We have pre-sold four million bottles ahead of pre-launch and know that this innovative product will change the way we drink water forever.”
