It’s a sure sign that summer has arrived when the BBQs start to appear, though few will rival Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel who will be welcoming the good weather by launching their Colonnade BBQ experience on Thursday 28th July.

The hotel, which recently won ‘Hotel of the Year’ at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards this year will be running its summer BBQ every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July until 4th September for both guests and visitors.

The luxury hotel’s chefs will be setting up their BBQs on the historic colonnaded terrace of the former dock warehouse, adjacent to the award winning Stanley’s Bar and Grill.

As you’d expect from the hotel, this is no ordinary BBQ. Titanic Liverpool’s Head Chef Gill Moss and her team have prepared a mouth-watering menu, which will be freshly cooked, using high quality produce and features BBQ and Tobacco rare breed pork with courgette fries, roasted leg of lamb with pitta, plus an Aberdeen Angus and horseradish burger.

Health conscious diners can choose from a variety of fresh and tasty options from The Salad Hut, including tangy citrus or classic Caesar salad, as well as refreshing watermelon with quinoa and a sweet potato salad with walnuts and mustard.

Pop-up bars will be serving chilled prosecco and a variety of rums. The hotel is famous for its comprehensive collection of more than 60 different varieties from around the world – and guests can pimp their drinks, personalising them with exotic fruits and nectars.

Titanic Liverpool have invited Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols to join them for the launch evening, and the store’s style team will be providing expert make-up guidance and tips, showing guests how to achieve a flawless work to Summer party look.

The Pantasy steel band will be providing a laid-back musical backdrop to the launch, with some traditional Caribbean steel pan sounds.

The Colonnade BBQ food menu is £15.00 per person and will be serving from 12.00pm – 17.00pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 4th September.
