Liverpool’s Indie Rock Quartet DENIO Set To Release Anthemic Track ‘Golden’

Liverpool based band DENIO return with indie anthem ‘Golden’ bolstering the lads’ impressive early career. Although only forming in November 2016, DENIO have gained support from the likes of BBC Merseyside, GetIntoThis and BBC Lancashire.

After premiering their debut single ‘Models’ at The Shipping Forecast to a filled room and then releasing ‘Cait’, described as “a clanging post-punk study in a sterilised test tube where Foals are shaken up with The Cure’s DNA’”(GetIntoThis), their third release is another strong track which has caught our attention.

After being premiered on Amazing Radio, the song has been picked up and is in competition to become the favourite of the Audition Show. ‘Golden’ is a song that talks about the golden early days of a relationship and wanting those good times to continue beyond lust. It’s a jangly indie track with an upbeat riff and catchy lyrics, so it’s no surprise that it has made an impact on national radio.

The boys have been compared to the likes of the early Talking Heads, Foals and Arcade Fire and look set for a bright future. Following a recent support slot for Bribes at The Magnet, you can expect to see their name on line up’s for the remainder of 2017 and we believe they might just have what it takes to stick around for years to come.

‘Golden’ is released on 21st August and you can keep up with the band’s announcements on Facebook & Twitter
