Spritz Happens: Aperol Spritz TO GO Cans Are Here Just In Time For Summer

There are few things more recognisable than the bright orange glow of an Aperol Spritz perched elegantly on a bar table. But now, in a move that feels both inevitable and slightly rebellious, the iconic drink has ditched the glass and hit the road.

Introducing Aperol Spritz TO GO Cans — the cocktail equivalent of slipping out early and taking the party with you.

For the first time in its 107-year history, Aperol has launched a ready-to-drink version of its signature serve, meaning your carefully curated “I’ll just have one” moment can now happen pretty much anywhere. Park picnic? Sorted. Festival field? Go on then. Rooftop hang that turns into a full-blown sunset session? Obviously.

At 5% ABV and packaged in a 250ml format, it promises the same bittersweet orange hit, light fizz, and easy-drinking charm — just without the faff of prosecco ratios or finding a clean wine glass in your mate’s kitchen.

The launch marks a big shift for the brand, owned by Campari Group, as it looks to move beyond bars and into more spontaneous, on-the-go social moments. In other words, they’ve realised that people don’t just want a Spritz — they want a Spritz wherever they are.

There’s also a nod to heritage in the design, with the classic orange hue and original Barbieri brothers monogram still front and centre. So while the setting might change, the aesthetic remains firmly “effortlessly continental.”

One of the UK’s most popular cocktails in bars, Aperol Spritz now seems determined to follow you out the door, into the park, and possibly into your group chat plans for the entire summer.

Because if there’s one thing this launch makes clear, it’s this: the Spritz isn’t staying put — and neither are you. The Aperol Spritz TO GO Cans will be rolling out across grocery and convenience stores this summer.
