Liverpool International Music Festival Announces Family & Food Programme For 2016

Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) today unveils its family activities and food programme for 2016.

Sefton Park’s green spaces will be transformed into a mix of colourful, enticing and exciting spaces to explore and discover. Redefining the Family Zone, the popular beach area returns with several tonnes of sand shipped in to honour the occasion and transport little festival-goers into a seaside paradise. Arts workshops, beach huts and street theatre will be in abundance as well as the introduction of unique space for our Young Festival fans in the Festival Vibe Area with face painting, hair styling and festival costumes to get everyone in the party mood plus a magical sensory experience presented by Colourscape.

Giving a nod to Liverpool’s strong music heritage will be the Secret Dance Clubhouse celebrating the best venues across the city and a chance for the little ones to delve into the city’s rich history and Liverpool’s status as a UNESCO City Of Music.

Taking place from 22nd – 24th July, LIMF Summer Jam is free for all making it one of the most affordable weekends on the festival calendar with more information available at www.limfestival.com.
