Liverpool Cycle Studio Charity Ride For Mental Health Charity CALM

On Saturday 9 September Rise Cycle Studio will be hosting a very special pop-up event to raise awareness of men’s mental health issues.

Cut Throat Pete will be joining the team live in the studio offering taster trims, cuts & shapes.

He says, “I’m really excited to be doing this pop up barbershop at Rise. Their concept is great and something that is a topic of many conversations in my chair. I decided, rather than taking a payment for my services on the day, I would donate the takings to CALM. Mental health is something that effects a lot of peoples lives, including mine, so to be able to donate some money to them has made the event more special.”

Rise will be holding a Charity RIDE for CALM and a hot candle lit yoga session, with all money raised on the day donated to CALM in support of men’s mental health.

Pressures of modern society have changed the way people connect, exercise and socialise. We live in a society where everything is filtered, photoshopped or fake. We want to bring people back into reality and hold a pop-up event promoting the positive effects of exercise on person’s outlook and general well-being.

Especially now as we move into Winter, Chilly Jenkins, Director says “We hope to raise awareness of the benefits of regular exercise as we strive to keep the winter blues at bay.  We take pride in every single person that comes through our doors at Rise, as someone is always battling a mental war with themselves whether it’s to attend a spin class or simply just get out of bed that day”.

So join the team this Saturday from 9am and ride for a great cause.
