The accounts will be updated with breaking news and advice throughout the day. Today it was announced that the Premier League has been postponed until at least 3 April. This means the Merseyside Derby will have to wait and Liverpool’s title-winning celebrations are on ice.

General information and guidelines for Coronavirus (COVID-19) can be found on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

The current UK advice is:

Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

a high temperature
a new, continuous cough
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.

Use the 111 online Coronavirus service if:

you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
your condition gets worse
your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

It’s likely that further distruption will be caused as we appraoch Easter, with schools and other public spaces looking likely to close.

We’ll update this page with the latest developments and NHS advice as often as possible.
